This is a quote direct from the Pioneer website forum. http://www.pioneerslotcars.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=19 Pioneer Fans, Retailers, Racers; It has been subject to some discussion regarding the release of new Pioneer models and the delay in cars being launched with different people coming to thier own conclusions as to why we have not seen any new models released, so have taken the opportunity in this thread to explain why there have been delays, and give our fans an opportunity to get the facts from Pioneer Direct; Firstly we have no intention of holding back any cars from the marketplace, and nor do we intend to for much longer. Commercially no company would want to not launch new product, bring in different models, and bring the Pioneer experience to a much wider customer base. Our problems are not financial, strategic, or indeed plain negelectful, but we have experienced many issues over the last 12 months with Manufacturing Pioneer cars in a timely manner, and most importantly to the level of detail and quality you as Slot fans have come to expect, and we as a manufacturer insist we deliver on every component of our car. To do anything less than this would be a discredit to our retailers, and fans the world over. It would also drive a stake through the very thing we set out to achieve with every Slot car, and this is something we are not prepared to compromise regardless of the wait however frustrating. What are we doing to put it right? Our problems lie with getting cars manufactured on time, and this has been the subject of many discussions and late nights over the last 12 months, much to the dissapointment of the team at Pioneer. During these late night coffee meetings, and endless cigarettes we have put many hours in to improving this, and after tirelessly working to rectify these issues we can safely say we are nearly there... Making a slot car of this quality is not a case of making a tool and hitting the start button, there are various elements and procedures that need to be stamped, double stamped, and treble stamped in order to put that smile on your face when you open the packaging.. that smile is something we all need to keep..!! Our efforts have been in developing the process, ensuring we always deliver the quality, and bringing most importantly more variety. We are working tirelessly to achieve this and the difference will be realised so patience for us and our fans is imperative. I want to thank each and every Pioneer customer for your continued support, and can assure you we will produce the cars you desire quicker, the service you expect, and a cars that change the game on the track. I would also like to thank you for your patience so far, I appreciate it has been tested. Please bear with us we are not twiddling with our controllers.. Thanks The Team First pictures of the Pioneer Cuda, straight from the Pioneer website. Just released from Pioneer, first shots of the Camaro. These are just proto shots and it looks like there will be an option on model releases as the tooling looks to be set up for having different bonnets / hoods and different boot / trunk lids. Hope we don't have to wait too long for these beauties.
The wheel track is a few hairs wider than the Mustangs. I expect they will run well together, using same motor and running gear.
There are two different grill versions, one with headlights (both 67 and 68 style) and also an RS hideaway lights variant. Also the glass window trim shows 67 and 68 changes as does the rear light treatment. P013 Legends Club Racer: '34 Ford
